I have been asked many times over which is your "best" profiting niche and which program for webmasters/affiliates generates the best revenue for you.
As I am into many affiliate marketing programs, the best I have found for big profits were those that I could personally relate to. Mainly sub niches where I had an understanding and somewhat knowledge of I found to be quite easy in "tweaking" for best keyword results.
SEO has always played an important part of my strategy and as well prime, top keyword domain names that have type in traffic and fit my desired "sub niche".
Once I remove a domain from its "parking status" and start to develop it, I compare notes as to what the monthly revenues were, which relevant keyword phrases were most used and build upon that. If I am not doing 2x the revenue vs parking revenue in the 1st month then I immediately re-evaluate what content or resource the surfer is looking for on that domain.

Those steps sound fast and easy but its with the help of many domain tools, and other webmaster tricks up my sleeve..each website needs to be tweaked out sometimes over months...
