I recently saw that Skype was charging me VAT/taxes for my Skype Out services, yet I am living outside the European Union... I recently wrote to Skype requesting a refund..here is what I sent..

I respectfully request reimbursement for the VAT charged to my previous purchases through Skype. According to law, as I am living in a non EU country you should not be charging me VAT, my residence is in Switzerland.
Please credit my account for the error in Skypes system. I am sure this was an oversight on your behalf and therefore will appreciate a fast response in regards to this issue.
