I`ve been experimenting with traffic from Twitter recently and the time invested has paid off well.
So far I have tweaked three ways to get the most out Twitters mass followers.
The latest changes that Twitter have made to their front end has been a plus also... If you are interested in trading ideas on Twitter traffic then give me a shout.

i've looked a few times for referrals from twitter in analytics, but found nothing..

You can have a million followers on Twitter, but if no one reads your posts its useless.
Just read an article that implied my exact thoughts...the CNN article was in regards to mainstream marketing through Twitter...
