i use smf as well, it does has some maturing to do compare to other forum applications. i am suprised they don't have a "seo friendly url" plugin built into the product; the plugin/patch i saw to make it work make me run in fear... lol

if you decide to switch, i hope the transition is easy.

Just installed "friendly url`s" - should feed the se`s a bit more
